Each of us needs sacred time in our busy lives.
Let this music be the friend that takes you there.
Glowing health is our natural state. Despite all the stress and drama in our daily lives, our bodies naturally seek to heal. Our ancestors understood that the healing of body, mind and spirit could be facilitated through healing environments and rituals including dance, temples of healing waters, toning, drumming, sweat lodges, meditation, massage and music. In modern times, we have come to associate healing with recovery from illness or injury. However, many people are realizing that even with vibrant health, we can still "heal" our mental, emotional and spiritual selves, in turn complementing and strengthening our physical presence.
Each CD from Real Music’s Sacred Spa Music Series is comprised of an hour of music carefully selected to help discover and strengthen your true essence, your Real Self ~ beautiful music that nurtures all aspects of your being as you slip into the peaceful embrace of deep and pleasurable relaxation.
"Real Music is the only source in the industry that consistently provides Four Seasons Resort Aviara with music of superior spa quality". - Elizabeth Stenning, Spa Director, Four Seasons Resort Aviara

Quiet Days, an hour of enchantment
List Price: 14.95
Many seek peace of mind and are aware that it can be found in various leisure pursuits. Activity is one way to cope with the stress and anxiety of an increasingly complex and fast-paced world, but there is another way to disengage from the human race, the race to get wherever it is we think we should be going. You can suspend yourself in the oasis of bliss this music offers. You can find a place where nothing can disturb you.

Letting the World Go By,
a vacation for mind and soul
List Price:14.95
"As I’ve said before, the folks at Real Music do an especially good job of putting compilation albums together. Letting the World Go By is the first in a series of at least three collections designed to promote and enhance the healing of our mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. The pace is lazy and soothing, and the sounds wash over the listener like a cozy blanket or the warmth of the springtime sun. Most of the selections come from Real Music’s line-up of artists such as 2002, Kevin Kern, Karunesh, Bernward Koch, Danny Wright, the late Hilary Stagg, and Govi. It also includes two wonderful piano pieces by Bernard L’Hoir. If you haven’t melted into your chair by the end of the second or third track of this album, you are in serious trouble, my friend! I made the mistake of putting this CD into my wake-up alarm - I don’t recommend it unless you are unusually strong in the morning. I’d listen to a song or two, thoroughly enjoying the music, and then it would be a half hour later! It’s a wonderful collection, and I highly recommend it for music to unwind to or simply to pamper yourself a little. It is available from the online outlets as well as www.realmusic.com and many retail gift shops and record stores.’’

Wrapped in Stillness,
a pause in the veil of time
List Price:14.95
"Real Music has produced a three-CD Sacred Spa Music Series that consists of the most soothing and relaxing tracks from previously-released albums. Wrapped in Stillness (a pause in the veil of time) includes pieces by Kevin Kern, Hilary Stagg (3 tracks), Paul Machlis, Gary Remal Malkin (2 tracks), 2002 (2 tracks), Frank Steiner, Jr., and Tim Wheater. In this case, I suppose that saying the album is a bit of a snooze would be a compliment, as that was the intention! At just under an hour, the CD is the perfect choice to accompany a nice, long massage or a soak in a hot tub or a very leisurely meal (you don’t need any wine when the music is this relaxing!). Of the three CDs in the series, I found this one to be a little too smooth to listen to actively. All of the music is gorgeous and works together well as a whole, but having it in the foreground, I found it a tiny bit bland. However, I believe the intention here was to create a collection that would provide a soothing and healing backdrop for quiet times, and, with that in mind, it really couldn’t be better. Very unobtrusive and calming, this CD is very successful in fulfilling that goal."

Sacred Spa Music Series 3-CD Boxed Set:
Quiet Days, Letting the World Go By,Wrapped in Stillness
Set of the 3 titles for $42
"As I’ve said before, the folks at Real Music do an especially good job of putting compilations together. The Sacred Spa Music Series Boxed Set consists of three CDs which are also available individually, and which are made up of the most soothing and relaxing tracks from previously released albums. The titles of the individual CDs are Letting the World Go By, Wrapped in Stillness, and Quiet Days. The collection is designed to promote and enhance the healing of "our mental, emotional, and spiritual selves". The pace is leisurely, and the sounds wash over the listener like a cozy blanket or the warmth of the springtime sun. Featured artists include 2002, Kevin Kern, Paul Machlis, Bernard L’Hoir, Danny Wright, the late Hilary Stagg, Govi, Michael Hoppe, and Tim Wheater. While calming and quiet, most of the pieces have enough sparkle to keep the albums very interesting in the foreground as well as creating a lovely backdrop for other activities or simply unwinding. Piano, harp, flute, and keyboards make up most of the instrumentation. This is a wonderful collection, and I highly recommend it for music to unwind to or simply to pamper yourself a little."
