This very special album is now out of print.
Capt. Jacques-Yves Cousteau spent his life sharing his passion and love for the magnificence and beauty of the whales, dolphins and all the life of the sea and his life is powerful testimony to the difference one person can make in the world. Capt. Cousteau died in 1998 but he continues to inspire us with his words and his example. You can join with Real Music and world class musicians (including Vangelis, Aria, Yanni and Kitaro) to help keep his dream alive. From each purchase of this CD, approximately $2.50 will be donated by Real Music’s non-profit EarthSea Institute to The Nature Conservancy, serving as a driving force to conserve and restore the health of the Gulf of Mexico coastal and marine habitats.
"Among my proudest possessions are several personal letters from Jacques Cousteau thanking the EarthSea Institute and Real Music for the many donations we were able to contribute through our Polar Shift CD project, helping to protect Antarctica from oil exploration. Now we must contribute our caring and our resources to help in the recovery of our precious Gulf of Mexico." - Terence Yallop, Founder of Real Music
Each time I reason, each time I try to use logic, I'm extremely pessimistic. When I use my heart, when I use my faith - and I have a stainless faith in mankind - then I become optimistic. A situation will arise that will awaken people, and we will suddenly understand that we have to join forces. -Jacques-Yves Cousteau
Ranging from tribal to operatic, poignant to passionate, Cousteauís Dream is a musical voyage of hope and inspiration, tribute to one who cared and acted upon that caring.

“The folks at Real Music seem to have a real knack for putting together exceptionally good compilations. A generous portion from the sale of each CD will be donated by Real Music’s non profit EarthSea Institute to The Cousteau Society and organizations with similar goals of protecting and preserving the earth and its inhabitants. A noble cause, and a great album to help promote it! With such a variety of artistic styles, it’s amazing that this album is so seamless. Smooth enough to use as a backdrop, but still interesting enough to listen to actively. Highly recommended!” -Kathy Parson, Solo Piano Publications
“This poignant tribute/benefit album to the great French underwater explorer and environmentalist Jacques-Yves Cousteau conjures the magic of watery realms, evokes the diver’s heroic efforts, and stands as a new age sampler all at one. A winner all around!” -Carol Wright, Barnes & Noble.com
