Some of the most beautiful New Age music has come from the Real Music label catalog, including Kevin Kern, the late Hilary Stagg, 2002, Bernward Koch, and others. Recognizing the success of previous compilations Eternity, Tranquility, Piano Dreamers, and Touching Beauty, this latest recap offers and hour of soothing selections. Included are harp selections “Sweet Return” and “For My Love” by Stagg, as well as two from River of Stars by 2002. Keyboardist Kern performs the Celtic “To Sleep on Angles’ Wings” while Brian BecVar contributes “I Watched Her From Afar.” Egil Fylling presents a synthesized, neoclassical composition, the newest track on the disc and memorable in its varied and glorious elegance. Make Infinity the centerpiece of an autumn display of Real Music compilations.
