Designed to be part of a pre-sleep regimen, this ultra slow music helps listeners relax and disconnect from activities of the day, making it easier to rest or fall asleep. Keyboard tones, dense synthesizer atmospheres and dreamy ambiance of heavenly music will fill your world with peace and tranquility. This album is ideal for sleeping, meditation, anxiety and stress management. Great as a background for Reiki, yoga, massage or to enhance healing activities. This is a work full of poetry and beauty. The music flows in a consistent, uninterrupted stream of ethereal soundscapes. The whole album has a clear space air, not only due to the use of synthesizers, but also because of the style of the compositions itself. However, the pieces are not abstract; they have majestic melodies, sometimes somewhat sentimental in nature, wrapped up in nightly, sensual atmospheres. In a few words, a very pleasant CD to listen to.
I am an early riser - usually around five o'clock. I seldom sleep during the day. I call it the "so much to do, so little time" syndrome. This morning I tried an experiment. After breakfast, dressing, etc., I put the Liquid Mind VIII: Sleep CD on the stereo and stretched out on the bed. It was slightly passed eight o'clock. I lie there and let the slow, gentle music wash over me. At first, as usual, my mind flitted around from task to task that needed to be done, but gradually I felt myself floating away. When next I opened my eyes, two hours had passed. I got up feeling rested, relaxed and re-energized. The CD works. If it got me to take a daytime nap, it should work for anyone.
I listened to Liquid Mind VIII: Sleep and found it very relaxing and sleep inducing! We have put the CD on our recommended list for patients.
