On the Earth Sea Series Volume I, accomplished pianist/composer Jim Chappell creatively draws upon his previous solo and group achievements for this special project with Real Music. Jim builds upon his well-known acoustic piano melodies by introducing synthesizer and percussion sounds, adding a soft rhythmic texture to the upbeat selections. A sprinkling of flute, guitars, saxophone and electric bass complete this cheerful and reflective album.
