We have just posted a video from the new album by Rajendra Teredesai and BlueMonk called Samsara. Teredesai describes the track “Conversation With God” as “The prince then has a conversation with God wherein he questions the purpose of human life and his very own existence. God replies that this life is like a mirage — a sword of maya or illusion, a pseudo-reality far from the eternal truth of life. Each person must tread their own path to seek the ultimate truth.

Tell us about your growing up around Nashville. You started studying piano and then drums at a very young age. What artists of the era inspired you and did you grow up in the 1970s? I was thinking Beatles ‘60s versus Bee Gees, which was so ‘70s! Being in Nashville was country music in your life and also how would you compare Nashville with where you live now in Austin?
