Dr. Masaru Emoto has spent a lifetime researching and testing the effects of positive thinking on the molecular structure of water. His experiments include relaying thoughts to the water through single-word labels on beakers, prayer and music. His findings are both controversial and fascinating. Music has always played a part in conveying the mood of humanity, but what does it do to us on a molecular level? This is just what Dr. Emoto set out to document. He placed distilled water between two speakers playing music for several hours. He froze the water and then photographed the crystals that formed. Surprisingly, the water exposed to artists such as Mozart and Beethoven formed as beautifully faceted snowflake crystals, whereas the water exposed to a more harsh music, such as heavy metal didn’t take on any discernible form at all. Through Dr. Emoto’s experiments it is evident there is a relationship between molecular structure and vibrations. Music, being composed of vibrations undoubtedly affects the emotional state of living beings. Consider the thought… The human body is comprised of over 70% water.
