President of Real Music Terence Yallop and his lovely wife Karen travel to the House Of Blues on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on October 13, 2012 to enjoy Real Music artist, accomplished pianist Omar Akram. Omar, introducing his new album Echoes of Love, gave a heart-felt performance that brought the audience to their feet. Appearing with Omar were: Ronnie Ciago on drums, Dimitris Mahlis on guitar, and Hussain Jiffry on bass. Also joining the evening was renowned violinist, Karen Briggs who left the crowd wanting more.

In 1993, the University of California Irvine produced a very famous study on the effects of classical music as it relates to the memory and IQ of students. “The Mozart Effect," as it became known, took the decade by storm and soon every expectant mother had headphones around their midsection in an attempt to form the next Einstein. Since then, many follow-up studies have either confirmed these findings to some degree or revealed that perhaps “The Mozart Effect” has no long term effect at all.
