The Staples Center was glistening with stars last night for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. Among them, Real Music's own, Omar Akram was winner in the Best New Age Album category for his album Echoes of Love, released June, 2012. Omar, being the first Afghan American to be nominated for a Grammy celebrates his victory on several levels, by taking home the coveted, gilded, gramophone. This is a first for Omar and Real Music.
