Slow World is the second release by Liquid Mind (Chuck Wild). It is a collection of slow introspective music. Comprised of three long cuts between 13 minutes and a half hour in length, it is a seductive and extraordinary album.
The first piece, "Mirror Veil", immediately brings to mind the classic early 80's release by Brian Eno, “Music for Airports” with long stretched out breathy samples. Emotionally it is music of breadth, power, and profound feeling.
Using state of the art studio techniques , Chuck slowly unveils a timeless world of sound. “Blue Seven”, the next cut, is a classic example of introspective space-music. As it slowly evolves it creates a sound world of exotic beauty and tenderness that captures the deep human yearning for inner peace and fulfillment.
The title cut, “Slow World” is an epic 30 minute long piece. Infused with hypnotic dreamy contemplation, “Slow World” is the perfect nocturne for a frenetic age. This soaring, powerful music covers the full range of sonic exploration, from massive panoramas of expanded stereo sound to the quiet subtle ambient tone textures and colors of deep space environments.
All in all it is an absolutely superb audiophile recording
