Koch takes you to a world full of peace and magic, where the melodies and sounds are part of the context that creates the magnificent compositions.” —reviewsnewage.com
Each track conjures an idyllic day, a dreamy journey through nature, as though Monet’s pastels have come to life. Concerns float away while basking in this gorgeous hour of Koch’s signature music. Describing his recording process for Day of Life, Koch said, “Flooded with good memories, I became more in the composing of it.” You can become more in the listening.

Comfort Music 2 by Various Artists
The Comfort Music voyage continues as you sail across the oceans, lifted out of your worries, only to discover the treasure that comfort is deep inside you. Wherever you are. Everything about the Comfort Music 2 journey says, “you can relax now.”

An hour of flowing melodies to bathe you in dreamy relaxation. Koch's piano compositions, enriched with flute, guitar and soft percussion, open the window to a peaceful, healing breeze.

Fueled by reflective dreaminess and soft, emotive piano melodies, Koch creates tapestries of soft instrumentation and lilting melody lines. Serene music for relaxation and quiet times.” —Music Design
According to a wise old parable, a gentle breeze is more welcome than a mighty storm. So it is with Koch’s fifteen new compositions, though within their gentle nature is contained a spirited essence. The effect upon listening is of one’s spirit being caressed by a gentle breeze of hope.

Free As a Bird is the much-anticipated follow-up to Omar's 2002 release, Opal Fire. Exotic, sensual, and brimming with life, it was worth the wait! Richly arranged and orchestrated by David Dial and Gregg Karukas, real instruments replace some of the keyboards from the earlier release, and the interaction of great musicians such as violinist Charlie Bisharat (one of my all-time favorites!), Ramon Stagnaro on guitar, Gregg Karukas on keyboards and percussion, and Pedro Eustache on flute makes the music even more exciting. It is impossible to not think of Yanni's best work when listening to Omar. International flavors and a strong, optimistic spirit ignite the upbeat pieces, and the quieter songs are full of heart and passion. Quite simply, this is a GREAT album!
