Real Music has released another stellar compilation album this time with the theme of healing featuring ten of their outstanding artists serving up songs that will touch your soul and your body. Many times as we journey through this world which can very often be harsh and unyielding, we all are in need of healing regardless of whether that healing is for the body, or for the spirit, or for the mind. This collection of music will serve you well regardless of what kind of healing you might need.
Peter Kater continues with his successful Elements Series that have covered the four physical elements namely Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, and with the release of his latest album, he covers another element that is not quite as physical as his previous elements albums. His new release for Real Music is entitled Etheria and after a few listens to this peaceful gem that Kater has created, I too agree that listeners will immediately feel the other worldly nature of the music that he has composed for this release.
Eamonn Karran is a self-taught composer and pianist/keyboardist based in Derry City Northern Ireland. Even though Eamonn has been playing keyboards with a variety of artists and bands over the past 25 years, it was not until the release of Distant Sun on the Real Music label that he finally put his music out in a tangible form for all of us to enjoy.
Omar Akram's 5th album Daytime Dreamer is due out in September 2013 and once again he presents us with a wonderfully diverse palette of compositions ranging from the tender romantic song “Love of My Heart” to the Spanish tinged “Last Dance.” Omar is not one to relax after winning the Grammy for Best New Age Album at the 2012 Grammy ceremonies, but instead follows Echoes of Love with another great album the very next year.
