I have admired Chuck's music for many years now and with the release of his 10th studio album called Meditation I find that he continues to deliver music that fills you with a sense of calm no matter how stressful your day might have been. Chuck might be considered the poster child for taking a fast paced life and slowing it down to the point where life can be enjoyed minute by minute without skipping a single one.
This is Kenio Fuke's second album for Real Music and once again he delivers a wonderfully peaceful set of 14 songs that deliver a meditative environment to the listener that will be an island of calm in the midst of the daily rush that so many of us are caught up in as we step out of our homes each day. The second cut on the album opens with the quiet and very appropriate sounds of birds greeting us along with piano, guitar and some orchestral music mixed a little further into the background.
The great thing about listening to a collection of songs from Real Music's artists is that you know as a label they have a lot of great musicians and that the vision of most of those artists blend together into a unified whole that allows a collection like Stillness to feel as if the artists deliberately set out to create this album. Real Music founder Terence Yallop also deserves credit for this collection as his discernment for which songs will truly reflect the theme of the overall album shows through in his choices of music to include in this collection.

Gandalf is a true veteran of new age music with a career that spans 30 years and 32 albums so he definitely has something to say to us through his music as he has honed his art to a fine point with the release of each new album. In March 2011 Gandalf released his latest effort called Earthsong & Stardance which he recorded with the Corso Wien Orchestra. As you might suspect from the title this album has a sweeping scope that covers not only the earth but reaches out to capture the universe itself in the music that he chose to include on this album.
